Loring Job Corps Center does feature college programs. Thanks to a linkage with University of Maine at Presque Isle, Loring students training in Recreation - Outdoor Wilderness have the opportunity to attend college for free for up to two years. This linkage affords Recreation students the chance to earn an Associates Degree in Recreation and Leisure Services, while living at Loring Job Corps. These students must achieve a 12.9 reading/math level and meet Spring and Fall enrollment deadlines in order to qualify. Students in other trades can also attend college while living at Loring if they meet the following requirements:
