New England's newest Job Corps campus, Shriver first opened in late 1998. Located in a rural setting in Ayer, Massachusets, Shriver Job Corps is situated within an hour drive of Boston and Worcester. Shriver Job Corps features modern facilities which can accomodate 272 residential students and 28 commuter students. Students at Shriver can choose to train in one of nine different trades, and can earn their GED here if they did not complete high school. All of the academic and vocational components of Shriver Job Corps are operated by Mt. Wachusett Community College.
